Originally working extensively as a self-taught player, Bob went on to study Classical Guitar at Canterbury Christ Church University College. He graduated with a Masters Degree in Music Performance in 1999 and has since performed at many events including music festivals, weddings, special dinners, restaurant theme evenings etc. Now, as a self-contained guitar soloist, he draws on many guitar styles to create exactly the right atmosphere for your special event.

Bob began working in bands when he was 16 years old and turned professional some 15 years ago. He has been active both on stage and in the recording studio in many musical genres including Blues, Jazz, Rock, Pop, Reggae and Country music. Although Bob was a bandleader for a number of years he now works mainly solo with hi-tech backing and can present an extremely varied programme of music to suit your event or special occasion.

Neil Diamond Tribute

Back in 2007 Bob launched his solo Neil Diamond tribute show ‘A Diamond Experience’. In the years that have followed, the show has gone from strength to strength and has taken Bob not only to venues throughout the UK but also to the Mediterranean where he performed on Cruise Ships for Island Cruises. Autumn 2009 saw Bob touring the show in the South East of England with a four piece band, a format that is now available for booking as an option to the ‘one-man’ show.

A Swing Thing!

Bob has developed a further tribute show based on the popular Rat-Pack era presenting block-buster songs made famous by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole and Matt Monro. He has performed his ‘Swing Thing’ show at restaurant theme evenings, wedding receptions, dinner-dances and private parties to the great delight of audiences of all ages.
